好きな曲の音つぶを描いているうちに、だんだん様々な音つぶを描くようになった。空と地面、雨や風、森や山の音つぶ。家や学校やお店の音つぶ。あらゆる場所に、季節に、思考にも、それぞれ固有の音つぶがあると思う。

音つぶは特別な楽しみや喜び、時には生きる力を一瞬で与えてくれる。一方で怒鳴り声や暗い悲しみに満ちた音つぶ、差別や戦争やいじめの音つぶも聞こえてくる。耳を塞いでも圧倒的な存在感で迫って来るのが世界にあふれる音つぶである。いつのまにか自分も嫌な音つぶを発していたりもする。

この世界には美しい音つぶがあること。 それを忘れなければ、大丈夫だと思う。

As I started drawing sound drops of my favorite music, I found myself drawing various kinds of sound drops. The sky, the earth, rain and wind. Woods and mountains. Houses, schools and stores. Every place, every season, even every thought has its own distinctive sound drop.

Sound drops give you a special kind of pleasure and joy. There are times when they can fill you with a comfort and wonder that keeps you going when you feel desperate. On the other hand, you also hear angry shouting voices or dark sad cries. You hear sound drops of discrimination, war, and bullying. Even though you cover your ears, sound drops from all over the world crowd you with their overwhelming presence. At some point, you might suddenly realize that you yourself are also producing such unpleasant sound drops.

Beautiful sound drops exist in this world. If you don’t forget this, I think things will be all right.
